The winning pitch of the 2023–24 season. The team built New2Fit, an app for people walking into a gym for the first time, and opened on the problem rather than the product: half of physical therapy patients fail to complete the routine they are prescribed, and just over a quarter of new gym-goers injure themselves within their first six months of lifting.
The team - Ajitesh Busireddy, Leonard Seto Jr. and Ryan Qu, all juniors at Palm Harbor University High School - pitched four features: a gym finder, a partner finder, an AI form checker and a goal and rewards tracker. Each student presented the part they owned, across software, project and finance, and marketing.
The team won the season and a $10,000 award to keep developing the app, and took a 30-minute strategy session with Kevin Harrington, an original investor from Shark Tank.
